Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

McCauley-McCamant Pine Springs Ranch

The McCauley-McCamant Pine Springs Ranch is located southeast of Winslow, and is still in operation today. The McCauley family is responsible for bringing the very first rodeo to Winslow. Pictured here are Dewey McCauley (the tall man in the black hat) and his ranch hands, along with his Chinese immigrant cook. McCauley was not only a rancher, but also an attorney in the area.
