Custer Commissioners Hope to Gather Monument Comments

The Custer County Commission announced Wednesday that it has designed an online portal so residents can comment on the proposed Boulder-White Clouds National Monument. While the commission has formally opposed the idea of turning the 591,905-acre area into a national monument, the page will be neutral and open to all opinions, Commissioner Wayne Butts wrote in a news release.
