Secretary Of The Interior Sally Jewell Looks To Millennials To Push The Climate Change Agenda

Despite the partisan squabbles that seem to be consuming Congress these days, Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell has faith that millennials can make serious progress in American domestic policies. In an interview with HuffPost Live on Monday, Jewell said that because environmental issues are a priority for younger voters, they could help turn the tide on climate change. “My optimism rests with the young generation. The millennial generation cares deeply about [climate change], and they want to be part of the solution,” she told host Josh Zepps. “And they aren’t pleased with the elected officials in Congress.
