DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

NMSU to offer unmanned aircraft systems workshop
New Mexico State University's Unmanned Aircraft Systems Flight Test Center will conduct a three-day workshop in September to teach government, civil and business officials about the new technology and regulations.
The workshop will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 13 to Sept. 15, at the NMSU's Physical Science Laboratory, at Anderson Hall, 1050 Stewart St. The workshop will cost $300 per person, with a working lunch included.

The workshop will focus on providing a better understanding of technology, determine the right sensor and UAS for a particular application, preparing for changes in the fast-moving industry, becoming aware of the administrative and Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and learn how to develop a plan and achieve each organization’s goals, according to an NMSU news release.
