DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Baxter Black named UW-P distinguished lecturer

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville has announced Baxter Black as its 2015 distinguished lecturer. Black, a cowboy, poet, philosopher and former large-animal veterinarian, will speak at 9:30 a.m. April 16 at the Williams Fieldhouse Bo Ryan Court. Black, 70, is also a radio and television commentator.
