We have, well, "used to have", a governing document that doesn't tell the Federal government what it can't do (that's what the Bill of Rights amendments was for) but rather it tells the Federal government only what it is allowed to do.<br /><br />That seems to be a moot point from Lincoln to the modern idiots with a cell phone and pen and idiots with a Twitter account and a pen.<br /><br />Question: If the Federal government passed a law that required cops to round up Jews and send them to concentration camps, would you want your local Sheriff to obey the "supreme law of the land" or refuse and become a "renegade"?<br /><br />No waffling.
