Today's Gospel tune is for me and a feller named Tick, and possibly for a few of you listeners. The song is Sinner by Wayne Scott and it's available on his 13 track CD This Weary Way.
Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

I can't imagine why you would think of me when you hear such as this. After all, I spent so much time as a choir boy and boy scout.
Oh wait, that was before rodeo, girls, rodeo, fast cars, rodeo, Hank Williams and, and...oh yeah, rodeo. I'm starting to remember now.
