Song Of The Day #441
To make up for yesterday Ranch Radio brings you a double dose of Hank: Hank Thompson performing Whoa Sailor and Move It On Over by Hank Williams.
Hank came to Silver City one time with Diana Trask and several current polished buckles and put on a show at old James Stadium. Finally, getting his fill of the bubble gum stuff an old cowboy in the middle of the crowd yelled, "'nuff of this . . . bring on Hank. We're tired of waiting from some music," and then continued to talk to himself as much as anybody about all the "B_ _ _ S_ _ _" noise which ain't music.Hank was trotted on stage and started his set swinging his leg the way he always did. Just great music . . . and nobody had to fight the old cowboy.
