ARE YOU AN ELK HUNTER?

DO YOU TAKE YOUR FAMILY INTO THE GILA?

Mexican Wolves are decimating the Elk herd in the Gila National Forest!

It is not safe to take pets into the Gila!

Everyone must exercise caution and care when visiting the Gila!

BEWARE OF WOLVES IN THE GILA!!!!

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is managing all wildlife in the Gila for the benefit of the wolves.

The elk and deer in the Gila belong to the people of the State of New Mexico. The NM Department of Game and Fish and the US Fish and Wildlife Service are sacrificing the people’s large game animals for the wolves.

Livestock, horses and pets are also being attacked by wolves. One dog was attacked by a wolf only yards from the front porch of a home in the Gila in the presence of an 8 year old girl.

The New Mexico State Game Commission meets in Las Cruces on March 28.
