Fish and Game finally captures, kills sick bighorn in Idaho
Idaho Department of Fish and Game officials finally killed a bighorn ram that showed signs of pneumonia because of concerns it could infect members of a herd native to the Salmon River canyon. The ram, which has eluded Fish and Game agents for weeks after it was spotted near domestic sheep last month, was killed Thursday about 20 miles from Riggins. Bighorn sheep have been big news in Idaho this year, as the Payette National Forest considers a plan to end grazing on public land near western Idaho's Hell's Canyon...AP
