DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Bull escapes from livestock sale in Calgary, bolts into downtown neighbourhood
Good thing there's no china shops near Calgary's Stampede grounds, home to the city's annual rodeo and western-themed celebration. An animal escaped from a sale of bulls on Monday and scooted through a downtown neighbourhood before it could be corralled. The animal bolted towards a light rapid transit station that's nearby. Cattlemen were later able to lasso the wayward bull. They tied the animal to a fence until it could be loaded into a truck.
