Twelve killed in Juárez since Friday afternoon

Two young men were shot and killed Friday night inside a vehicle with Texas license plates at a popular crossing in central Juárez. Chihuahua state police found 46 bullet casings at the scene where José Luis Meza Terrazas, 22, and Miguel Ángel Prieto Herrera, 25, were murdered. The attack occurred about 10:15 p.m. at the Tecnológico and Teófilo Borunda avenues near the Camino Real hotel. The men were found inside a green 2003 Ford Expedition. Separate attacks Friday afternoon, night and Saturday morning have killed 12 people in Juárez.
