Vehicle kills grizzly in Grand Teton park

Grand Teton National Park says a vehicle struck and killed a male grizzly bear that darted onto U.S. 89 inside the park. Park spokeswoman Jackie Skaggs said a Jackson man called park officials the night of June 2 to report the incident. Skaggs says he wasn’t charged. The man, whose name wasn’t released, stayed at the scene till park officials arrived. Skaggs says he seemed distraught.
