Burning Man organizers are asking federal land managers for a new five-year permit for the annual festival held on northern Nevada's Black Rock Desert. U.S. Bureau of Land Management officials say they'll accept public comments on the request through Dec. 13. I wonder what the response would be if I started a Burning Cow festival and sought a permit to put 50,000 cows on that acreage for a seven week period?
