Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.
It's so dry in Texas right now that the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, the Methodists are using wet-wipes, the Presbyterians are giving out rain checks, and the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water.
I must be the last neandrethal in Texas with no Facebook account. I guess I ain't quite yet what Laura Ingraham calls a 'screen zombie'. No cable or satellite, no IPad, Kindle or Game Boy, just one beat up ol' cell phone, a well worn laptop and a house one mile out to the county road. Dang, I guess I'm still livin' way back in the 20th century.
Guess I'll have to wait till your amendment goes viral to see it. :-)
I see that you have posted my New Texas Rain Gauge photo on your website. I'm pleased & astounded to learn how viral it has become which, by now, has made it throughout the Western Hemisphere. I am conducting an informal survey to see how far it has traveled, so if you have knowledge of any cities/locations where it has been viewed, please let me know.
Here's a new link to the photo:
