Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame to induct five new members
Five legendary Kansas cowboys will be honored for their contributions to the Western life as they are inducted into the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame in Dodge City. The Hall of Fame will honor these five men at a ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday at Boot Hill Museum. The Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame Committee is happy to announce the 2011 inductees: • Harold Riley Grinstead, Syracuse, working cowboy • Joseph McCoy, Abilene, cowboy historian • Charlie Norton, Leoti, cowboy entertainer/artist • Gail Leon McComb, Stockton, rodeo cowboy • George Herrmann, Ford, cattleman/rancher. Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame inductees are selected by committee in five different categories: Working Cowboy, Cowboy Historian, Cowboy Entertainer/Artist, Rodeo Cowboy and Cattleman/Rancher. Each inductee has contributed significantly to the Western heritage lifestyle and preservation of the cowboy culture in Kansas. They personify cowboy ideals of integrity, honesty and self-sufficiency. They have statewide historic significance and are natives or current residents of Kansas.
