DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Pearce never handled a saw before in his life. You see the back-and-forth motion of his hands as he completes the back cut that was started for him? And no chaps - not macho, brave or heroic, just dumb.
