DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Roosevelt County farmer appointed to State Fair Commission
Gov. Susana Martinez has appointed Roosevelt County farmer Matthew Rush to the State Fair Commission. Rush is the executive vice president of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau, overseeing day-to-day operations of a 16,000-member farm and livestock organization. He also owns and operates Rush Cattle Company, a family business that specializes in farming and cattle ranching. Rush is a past president of the Roosevelt County Farm Bureau and serves on the board of directors for the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.
