A long time ago,I knew the manager of a very large ranch in Nevada. He said a good part of the Nevada cowboys were shadow riders more concerned in how they looked than is what they did; would not get off to fix fence; sleep in a tent or do the work most cowboys do. So I watched this documentary with a grain of salt. Besides, riders tearing through the herd swinging their loops is usually a problem.
Long shot: anyone know where this DVD is for sale, if it still is available anywhere??
