Whitewater-Baldy update
- Evacuation of Mogollon should be complete now. The fire has not reached any further trigger points.
- Wind is from S/SW so fire headed N/NE.
- Reserve is not considered to be at risk at this time. "There is lots of land between the fire and Reserve". (Note that Reserve is actually north and slightly west of the fire.)
- We are experiencing extremes conditions, with high winds and low humidity.
- We have no fire perimeter right now due to the IR plane being unable to take off last night (mechanical).
- Ranches in the affected path have been notified. People began moving livestock out yesterday and continue today.
- There is a voluntary evacuation in effect for ranchers in the area.
