The Westerner takes a fall
Yes, I bit the dust this am transferring from the bed to the wheelchair. With a little help from my son, his co-worker, and a manual lift I'm back in the saddle so to speak. No big damage, just a chipping away at my ego. Also sore, my body was in positions it's not used to. Taking some Flexeril for back spasms. Those make me a little loopy, so The Westerner may be less than expected today.

Frank, I hope you recover quickly. Getting bucked off isn't too bad if there aren't any rocks when you land.
Your work on The Westerner is appreciated by all of us.
Been there, done that. My super lightweight, titanium, high-speed, go-fast Quickie Revelation threw me the first week I had it. I learned I wasn't cut out to do all those fancy spins and twirls the kids do in a wheelchair. I was sore for a week.
Pard, we both found out first time we left the saddle unwillingly, gettin' throwed's the easy part. Gettin' back on is the hard part. :-)
Hope there's no long lasting aftermath. You're needed around here.
So sorry to hear about your "unscheduled dismount". Hope you're not too sore, and back in the saddle quickly!
