Man charged in drunken horse ride through Boulder, Colo.
University of Colorado police have arrested a man suspected of going on a drunken horseback ride through the city of Boulder. Police spokesman Ryan Huff tells The Daily Camera that witnesses saw the rider and horse occasionally wandering into traffic near the school Monday afternoon. Police pulled over the rider and gave him a sobriety test, and he was arrested on suspicion of riding under the influence. The man's name hasn't been released. Police say he had a small dog in his backpack and beer in one of his saddlebags. The horse and the dog have been impounded. AP
