Trial for ATV protest ride postponed until March

A trial has been postponed for four men charged in an ATV protest ride through an off-limits area of southeastern Utah last May. The men were originally scheduled to stand trial for the Recapture Canyon protest on Dec. 22, but a judge has pushed that back to late March. In the meantime, a judge will hear arguments about whether one of the men charged should be allowed to keep a court-appointed attorney. The four men have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and illegal use of all-terrain vehicles.
