Windy Bill by R.W. Hampton is Ranch Radio's selection for today. Don't know who thought of adding the clarinet, but its a nice touch. The tune is on his 1994 CD Born To Be A Cowboy and explains why you better follow that California law. (There's some controversy concerning the origins of this song and some of the terms used. One author says, "Thorp says he first heard sung by John Collier, Cornudas Mountain, New Mexico, July 1899. You can read about it here.)
