NMCGA Passes Emergeny Resolution on Contemplated Borehole Drilling

For the past few months there has been a great deal of consternation in Northeastern and Southeastern New Mexico regarding the proposed drilling of boreholes to test the viability of deep storage of nuclear waste. Given that there has been a great deal of conflicting information on the proposal, there has been huge public outcry among those living and working in these regions.

At the request of numerous New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association (NMCGA) members, the Executive Committee has passed the attached and pasted below emergency resolution.

Should you have comments or questions, please let us know.
