DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

El Paso region leads southwest in border apprehensions
There's a drastic increase in migrants caught at the border across the country. The largest change in number of arrests happened in the El Paso sector. According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website, in the El Paso region the number of families arrested on the border has more than doubled. No other Southwest border sector even comes close. Among unaccompanied children apprehensions that number is up by 17 percent compared to last year. The El Paso region, once again, is leading the way among Southwest border sectors.
