Notice the title says "rob" and the column says "steal".
If there is any theft here, it was the government-coerced purchase of the 4.6 billion gallons of ethanol, robbing the consumer of choosing the product of their choice. If the government forced you to give 10 percent of your labor to a neighbor, and then removed that requirement, would you be "stealing" from your neighbor?
