We are starting a new feature here at Ranch Radio, one that reflects my
eclectic taste in music. Traditional country, western, string band,
western swing and bluegrass will always be my favorite, but I also enjoy
dixieland jazz, early years of rock and roll, folk music, tex-mex, big
band and others. So I've started Dealer's Choice, where from time to
time I'll share tunes from those other types of music that I like. We
may keep this as part of Ranch Radio, or we may start another channel.
We'll see what my subscribers say. Up first, we'll combine two genre's,
with some good appalachian style picking of three songs from the 50s
pop/rock era: Dream Lover, Rockin' Robin and Come Go With Me, all from
Duncan's new CD, Smoky Mountain Fifties.
