On September 28, US Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke publicly threatened Russia with a naval blockade saying that this is an option to prevent Russia from selling its energy.
“The United States has that ability, with our Navy, to make sure the sea lanes are open, and, if necessary, to blockade … to make sure that their energy does not go to market,” Zinke stated at an industry event in Pittsburgh hosted by the Consumer Energy Alliance adding that “Russia is a one trick pony”...MORE
This comes as no surprise. After all, he supported Obama's blockade of access to federal lands in Dona Ana and Luna counties. He treats Russians and Americans just the same.
Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.
