Border Patrol discovers human stash house near southern New Mexico border (Sunland Park)
SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KRQE) - Officials have discovered a human stash house near New Mexico's southern border.
Border Patrol agents say it was located near Sunland Park.
They discovered it after a 17-year-old was found badly beaten.
He told them he was beaten at the house while he and his father were being held against their will.
He says when he and his father tried to escape, they were attacked.
Border Patrol agents later located the father who did, in fact, escape.
Agents found one more illegal immigrant locked behind a chained door.
At this point, they have not announced any arrests of those responsible.
