Here's a tune written by Leon Payne, under the pseudonym Pat Patterson
and first recorded by Loy Clingman in 1957. Red Kirk put it out in 1959
and the Reeves released his version in 1961. The Coasters also recorded
in that year and there were later versions by Sanford Clark and others.
But the Reeves version is the one I heard first and believe I like the
