The governor of New Mexico took to Twitter on Tuesday and criticized a wave of "Second Amendment Sanctuary" resolutions passed by counties across the state. More
than half of the state's 33 counties have passed resolutions in
opposition to a series of what they called gun control bills being
considered by the state Legislature. Such “sanctuary” resolutions often
say sheriffs should not have to enforce measures they consider
unconstitutional. Officials have said the resolutions are symbolic in
nature. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, criticized the movement in a series of Tweets:
"A few law enforcement officers in this state have been making noise
about how they won’t enforce gun safety measures because they don’t like
them. That’s not how laws work, of course, and it’s not how oaths of
office work either." Grisham wrote she would
continue to advocate for gun reforms, despite "NRA propaganda, rogue
sheriffs throwing a childish pity party or bad-faith critics."
Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

Michelle it's too bad you are now the Governor of New Mexico. You are nothing more than a reject from Washington with no place to go except here. I am sure New Mexicans will regret ever voting you into office. You want to ban our weapons and legalize abortion. Not cool. This is the wild west and we tamed it with our weapons. Now you want to make it a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants. We will need our weapons, guns to defend ourselves from all the bad guys once again. Funny how history repeats itself isn't it ?
