Open border group: Don’t hire former Trump administration people or else

 Karen Townsend

“We will be watching.” That’s the message from open border leftists who have organized to lean on Fortune 500 company CEOs and University presidents against hiring Trump administration officials leaving their jobs. They are demanding that no administration official involved in the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to secure the border be hired when looking for future opportunities.
Immigration and civil rights groups are urging companies not to hire senior Trump administration officials who were involved in planning, carrying out or defending the separation of migrant children from their parents.
“They should not be allowed to seek refuge in your boardrooms or corner offices,” according to the open letter signed by 41 groups, including Southern Poverty Law Center. “Allowing them to step off of the revolving door and into your welcoming arms should be a non-starter.”
The group is Restore Public Trust, an organization “promoting accountability and transparency in government.” In this case, the mission is to prevent any former Trump administration official employment once their time in government service is over. While claiming to be non-partisan, the group organized specifically to call-out the Trump administration’s alleged corruption, as noted in its original press release and none of its board members listed are conservative.
