Beyond Meat wants to raise its profile. On Thursday, the El Segundo-based plant-based food company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange, and on Friday, May 3, it will be giving away free samples nationwide.
The promotion marks the company’s 10th anniversary, according to a news release. “Taste the future of protein on us,” it reads.
Beyond Meat partners with restaurants across the nation on its Beyond Burger and beef-like crumbles used in tacos and burritos. Some of its bigger chains will participate in Friday’s giveaway.
Carl’s Jr. will be giving away free a Beyond Famous Star with Cheese with the purchase of a medium or large drink to customers who tell their servers at the register, “Happy Birthday Beyond.”
Participating Del Taco locations will give away Beyond Tacos, made with either cheese or avocado, with any purchase through its app, according to Beyond Meat.
Del Taco has announced a similar Cinco de Mayo promotion on May 5. It will give guests a free Beyond Taco with a minimum $5 purchase through its app on that day.
Veggie Grill will give a free VG Beyond Burger 2-5 p.m. to rewards app members on May 3. Beyond Meat also sells its products in grocery stores and is offering

Poor devils do not realize "there is no free lunch".........as consumers of Lab Slime take a higher risk of pathogen contamination. Immediate health effects such as disrupted digestion processes.....think of the "bean effect".......and longer term health risks when replacing positive health enhancing nutrients with negative ones.
