15 incredible images from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition released a limited selection of their 'highly commended' images from the 2019 contest. Incredible imagery represents plant and animal life from across the globe, chosen from the contest's variety of categories. Over 48,000 entries from 100 countries were submitted for the 2019 competition. Wildlife Photographer of the Year is developed and produced by the Natural History Museum, London. Winners will be announced on October 15 and a showcase of the winning images held at the Natural History Museum in London on October 18.
