- A new poll released today conducted by nationally respected polling
firm The Tarrance Group shows that Republican Yvette Herrell leads
Claire Chase in the primary election by 30 percentage points, 43% - 13%.
Herrell also leads Chris Mathys by 31 percentage points, 43% - 12%.
"Yvette Herrell is the clear frontrunner for the Republican nomination for Congress in the 2nd District," said B.J. Martino, Partner at the Tarrance Group. "She leads by 30 points on the ballot with 43% saying they would vote for her, with 13% for Claire Chase and 12% for Chris Mathys."
Polling results from surveys of 450 likely GOP primary voters in NM02:
