$15K reward offered in butchered pony case

Albuquerque Crime Stoppers has announced a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for mutilating a horse. The 10-year-old Welsh Pony, Quicksilver Rock Star “Rocky,” was killed in his paddock in Corrales on June 25. Advertisement Police say the perpetrator butchered the pony, removing portions of his body from the property. Rocky won honors at the Welsh Pony Nationals show in 2016 and his death has outraged the horse community in the area.
