Spent the afternoon in El Paso...
...at a doctor's office to discuss surgery to replace my baclofen pump. The pump is inserted under the skin in the belly area and has a catheter connected to my spinal cord. This delivers the baclofen directly to the spinal cord, and helps lessen the stiffness in my body caused by the multiple sclerosis. The pump has to be replaced every 5 years, and I'm up this year. So lucky to have this occur during a so-called pandemic, when a hospital is the last place I want to be. Will let you know when the surgery is scheduled.
