DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

San Antonio Rodeo is on for 2021
The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo will happen in 2021, according to the event's website. The news of the major event going forward comes after the coronavirus pandemic forced a slew of cancellations in 2020, including Fiesta, much of the Spurs season, Luminaria and more. Dates are scheduled for Feb. 21-28. Hosting the rodeo, livestock show and competitive events is the most viable option for the organization in order to continue to make an impact on future generations, said Lauren Sides, a spokeswoman with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. "Since we first started, we have been able to give almost $223 million to Texas students so we are doing everything we can to keep that commitment we made to livestock education," Sides said. "It is such a large part of what we do, last year we gave about $6.3 million to the youths competing in our livestock show."...MORE
