Growing up in the sport of rodeo teaches some of life’s best lessons. And according to Reba McEntire and Cody Johnson, their work ethic was instilled in them through rodeo.
In the second episode of “An Intimate Conversation,” Reba McEntire and Cody Johnson share rodeo stories. Johnson starts the video with how he began bull riding. It was something that he saw and decided he wanted to do. However, for Reba, it was the family business. She recounts her memories of going to Cheyenne Frontier Days and rodeos across the United States.
Both country music artists gave up rodeo to pursue their careers in music. Johnson says that he was angry and the failure is what he brought with him when he chose the career change. He thanks the failure because it’s what made him successful today.
