Interesting to see what artists and record producers will do as they try out different approaches to the same tune. We get to witness that in the tune Go and Wash Your Dirty Feet by Johnny Horton, all recorded in 1951. We have them here for you. Version #1 is primarily Horton backed by piano. #2 has a piano break, plus notice the drums #3 is traditional country, with a steel and fiddle break #4 same tune but they have overdubbed with electric guitar on rhythm, with a kind of rockabilly tinge to it, which evolved into the Horton honky tonk mode which he stayed in until he started having the history song hits.
Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.
