Issues of concern to people who live in the west: property rights, water rights, endangered species, livestock grazing, energy production, wilderness and western agriculture. Plus a few items on western history, western literature and the sport of rodeo... Frank DuBois served as the NM Secretary of Agriculture from 1988 to 2003. DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

NMSU Women's Rodeo Team is NIRA Regional Champion

Congrats to the ladies!

All three CNFR qualifiers in the breakaway roping event are from NMSU

1 Bethanie Shofner 2. Kaitland Harwell 3 Abbie Shofner

Jade Wamel is the champion barrel racer for the region, Sierra Spratt placed 3rd in the all around and Baylee Johnston is a CNFR qualifier in the goat tying.

A great performance by the women, especially considering they had NO COACH for the entire season.

The Boys Team placed 4th, and has all three of the bull riding spots for the CNFR and one qualifier in the bareback riding.
