DuBois is a former legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Interior, and is the founder of the DuBois Rodeo Scholarship.

yes, she was my dad's older sister
I thought so. We are indeed related then. Your grandmother Mary (McKay) was my grandmother Laura's older sister.
