Migrants feeling uncertain after round up rumors at Sacred Heart Church

EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) — Migrants out on the streets of El Paso felt uncertain about their futures.

Most migrants camped outside of Sacred Heart Church have entered the country illegally so they don't have the proper documentation to remain in America.

It was a completely different mood for migrants in Segundo Barrio migrants were seen talking to their relatives over the phone.

Some migrants told CBS4 they haven't slept and others were unsure of what to do if the rumors about a round up is true.

"A lot of movement since yesterday," Jose Natera said.

"ICE officials came and told us we needed to clear the space because this wasn’t a place for us to be on the streets," Juan Carlos Quitien said.

Migrants told CBS4 there was a noticeable difference outside of the Sacred Heart Church and the Greyhound bus station in downtown.
