Saddle Bronc Rookie Takes Title at Turquoise Circuit Finals


 Slade Keith, just 19, won the Turquoise Circuit Finals in Saddle Bronc with a consistent two-day, three-ride run.

Slade Keith won two rounds and the average in the Saddle Bronc at the Turquoise Circuit Finals hosted in Camp Verde, Ariz., which ended on Saturday.

Keith rode consistently throughout the event sharing the lead after the first round with an 83-point ride on Salt River Rodeo's "Matilda," setting him up to contend in the average.

In the second round he posted a 78-point ride to stay in the race, and then claimed the average title with his third-round ride of 83.5 points on Honeycutt Rodeo's "Wolverine."

Keith, out of Stanfield, Ariz., is just 19 years old and entering his second full season. In 2023 he had 17 qualified rides in 20 outs, and won one go-round with a 71.75 average...more
