Greens sue feds over NM trespass cattle

A trio of environmental groups is suing federal agencies for allowing livestock grazing in northern New Mexico’s Valles Caldera National Preserve.

WildEarth Guardians, Western Watersheds Project and Caldera Action allege a violation of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in their suit against the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

Let's quit kowtowing to the know nothing greens, the perfumed princes of Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The Caldera belongs to the Jemez Pueblo and we should tell congress to make that happen. The Caldera is not the personal playground to the idle rich of Santa Fe and Albuquerque even though they think it is be all of the litter they bring to this place. Bathing in the hot springs and skiing in the winter that's all they know how to do. If they want the cattle out for now let them maintain the fences, but they couldn't do that type of work. The Caldera used to be pastured by 1000 head of steers when the Kings owned the property. That didn't hurt the ecology did it? Plenty of elk and deer there also. Plenty of dirty diapers and beer cans from the high and mighty Greens using the place as their personal property. Get congress to make things right by turning the Caldera over to the Jemez Pueblo.
