Idaho Senate will debate wolf disaster bill
An Idaho Senate panel advanced legislation declaring a wolf disaster state of emergency in Idaho after public testimony detailed frustration, anger and fear of the predators. The Senate Resources and Environment Committee heard from more than 50 Idaho ranchers, hunters and residents on Wednesday before voting 7-2 to pass the measure. The bill, which the Idaho House has already approved, now heads to full Senate for debate.
