If you are his daughter, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Please also understand I didn't "announce" anything about your father. The story was already published and I simply posted an excerpt from the article with a link to the source.

With respect to Larry's daughter and understanding for her emotional condition. Kudos to Frank for reporting. We, the people, need to know about this atrocity. This is not the time for grief for the rest of us but a time a rage and a call for vengeance. that the NMSP is now in charge is not cause for confidence. the cops need to go home and let citizens take care of business.

With all due respect to the family members, I think many people are just on pins and needles about the border situation. We all have friends we are afraid for down there. This was reported as a murder by illegal alien. It is still early and possibly that may not be true.
However circumstances seem, it is appropriate to post the news. It is news.
It is also appropriate to offer condolences and prayers for the family in their time of loss. This is a terrible thing.

I am heartbroken when I read this news. My husband grew up in Las Cruces. One one of our military transfers, we went through Steins. It was in 1992. We were able to go to the Ghost Town. Larry and Linda were wonderful. We had great tour of the ghost town, they shared their story of how they bought it and their dreams. When I saw the headline in Las Cruces Newspaper..I was like..wait we met them. I pulled out the scrapbook and sure enough. I had written Larry was a great tour guide and such a wonderful story teller. I am so so sorry for your tragic and senseless loss. While I only knew your dad for a couple hours. We have never forgotten about that trip.

My deepest sympathy to the family, but this is a story the country needs to hear about... it should not be buried. Thanks for reporting on this. Fox news also reported it, but there was not one article, not one on CNN. Guess they had gag order. They don't want people knowing (although we already do) that our border is not secure.
