4-H cancels another event planned at Expo New Mexico

Another 4-H event planned for Expo New Mexico has been canceled. The Northern Regional LIvestock School was scheduled to take place next month at Expo New Mexico, but NMSU sent a letter to parents last week saying it was canceled and would not be rescheduled. That's because the state will be using the dorms to house asylum seekers entering the U.S. Last week, KRQE News 13 also reported on a 4-H horse school being moved last minute to Las Cruces for the same reasons. Right now, the facilities are not being used. KRQE

That is truly sad. Those 4-H kids work so hard on their projects all year and to have it cancelled for that reason is sad all the way around. We need to take care of our own population.....
